QUARRIERS PRESENTATION

Karen was delighted to be able to present Louise Strachan of Quarriers with a cheque for £835.00.

This was raised by the Ladies Section during 2023 but the total raised will be more, as a result of people using the QR code to pay for the pleasure of landing in the Captains bunker!  Well done and thank you to everyone for supporting Karen in her efforts.

CHRISTMAS LUNCH

Unfortunately, due to fog and frost, the course was closed on Wednesday 6th December.  This took the decision whether to play the 9 holes out of Captain Karen's hands.  Morven came to the rescue with a very entertaining quiz, which the teams took part in, before enjoying lunch.  The winning team, with a very impressive score of 36 out of 50, were Sheila Biggart, Pat Pennell, Karin MacKenzie and Jean Murray.
I would like to thank everyone for taking part  in 'Spot the Ball'.  This resulted in the magnificent sum of £103 being raised for the Red Cross.  The prize winner was Pamela MacKenzie.
The keenly fought competition for the Best Christmas outfit was won by Helen Abram.

I am sure everyone would like to thank Karen for all her hard work and wonderful organisation throughout the year.  All the events we enjoy take a lot of planning to ensure they run smoothly.
Wishing all members a very Happy Christmas and a Good golfing 2024.

CHRISTMAS 9 HOLE TRIAM - WED 6TH DECEMBER

Good morning ladies. Unfortunately the course is closed due to thick fog and ice. Craig is updating me, but it looks doubtful for golf. In the event of no golf, Morven has kindly prepared a quiz. The quiz will take place at 11.45, followed by lunch.

Final decision on golf at 09.15 and will be communicated on the WhatsApp.
